We, the Whitney United Methodist Church, declare that all persons are welcome to attend, join, and participate fully in the life of our congregation regardless of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, economic condition, marital status, and mental or physical ability.

Whitney UMC is a school of love where we learn to love God, one another, ourselves, and creation as Jesus teaches.

Our Mission Focus is to disciple, serve and provide resources to children and families in our community. We do this as Christ taught us in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are a faith community that strives to help one another build our relationship with God while helping meet the physical, spiritual and intellectual needs of our community and congregation. As a result, we build close relationships with others and have fun!

Although in this time of the pandemic our building is only partially open, we as a church are open and remain in ministry together as a community of faith.

Please join us for worship every Sunday morning at 10 a.m. in person at Whitney or livestreamed on Youtube. You can find all the services, children’s church, and more, by checking out our Youtube channel or our list of services at the links below:

Our choir director Andy Maddox and his wife pianist Svetlana Maddox and our praise band, “Six Ways to Sunday” assist with worship.  We share Communion on the First Sunday of the month.  For information on Bible and prayer groups, and more, click here or here or email us at:

Our Family Life Ministry team is providing at-home worship materials for our families with children and youth as well as children’s moments during our online worship services.  Email for more details.
