Joseph’s Closet is our warm clothing ministry.  Every October-January we offer WARM coats, gloves, hats, scarves, socks and blankets to people in our neighborhood who need them.

Ways you can help:

Coats for all ages.
Gloves, hats, scarves, socks.
Blankets and sleeping bags.
You can also donate money and we will buy items we need. (Make check to the church and mark it Joseph’s Closet.)

Volunteer – During October-January we always need people to help volunteer in the closet.
We accept donations of outerwear all year long, please bring them to the church office.

This last season we helped keep over 500 people warm.

Donating food to help feed our neighbors is an easy way to help fulfill our church’s mission.

In 2020 South Jr High opened a food cupboard to help feed hungry students.
St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry also welcomes food donations.

Every Saturday we offer a free sack lunch for for the community.  The lunch has a sandwich, fruit, chips, carrots, a treat and milk.  Lunch is provided on Saturdays between 10:30 am and noon.

People can help make these lunches and hand them out.  Everyone wears gloves and a mask and we monitor physical distancing. Workers open the church at 10:00 am and make the lunches. Everything is provided.  There are supervisors that oversee each Saturday.   Anyone can help including children.

If you are interested in helping with Saturday lunch, call the church office at 208-343-2892.
