Craft Fair 2019 November 1-2

2019 Craft Fair is almost here.  Our chair Lorrie Baer welcomes you.                                               Every year is different.

The funds are used for our Outreach which includes feeding the hungry once a month with a hot healthy meal, lunches on Saturdays (52 weeks of the year) and our Joseph’s Closet which provides free warm clothing (coats, hats, scarves, socks and gloves) to those who need them.

Here is a list of all the Silent Auction entries this year:

Carla’s Cookies – 12 months of cookies.   Carla Biersdorff is again providing a year of cookies to the successful bidder.  Just remember to return the tins to keep them coming.

Acrylic paintings – (2) of animals

Movie basket – Regal passes plus goodies

Collection of honeybee products with a secret ingredient.

Two BSU merchandize items.  One basket has two tees and two hats. The other has a tee, a hat, a blanket, and a key ring.

Alaska salmon dinner basket.  This is a do-it-yourself kit with everything you need to make a salmon dinner for four.

2 – Dr.Seuss and cuddly animal baskets.  The baskets include plush toys and books.

Here is Mary Kienzle’s Sunrise on the Oregon Coast.  It is mounted on a gator board ready to hang.

This is the signed basketball jersey with the signatures of some of the players including Derrick Alston, Jr and Justinian Jessup plus those of other BSU athletes.

There are plenty of items to browse that are not in the auction.

We have a weighted blanket (approximately 14 pounds) with two weights of padded weight batts which can be rearranged however you want.  A zipper in the cover makes the cover removable for washing, while internal ties keep the weighted insert in place.  The cover is honey gold.  Shelley Cooper, Kathy Old, and Dianna Shea made it.

Watch for delightful fall themed decorated mini pumpkins.  Lorrie led a bunch of people in making them.

Expect Stan Barker’s Lasagna Soup for lunch.

Beverly Buttram’s Blackberry Wine Cake will be for sale made by Johnna Dunten and Jan Spencer, as well as Carla Biersdorff’s cookies to take home that day.

Shelley Cooper made several more of her elegant triangle shawls.

There are squeezable honey bears full of Cooper Apiaries honey.

Blackberries are well represented. Look for blackberry syrup and jam from Gina Waller.  There will be many other kinds of jellies.

Pies of many kinds will be out – get there early!

Look for forcing bulbs, succulents, cactus.

Expect macrame plant hangers and pillows from Emily Nelson, fabric tote bags from Barbara Nolan, and peach jelly with honey not sugar from Johnna.

Linda Slupe and Jana Hedges return with their can’t-miss lemon curd.

Check out Grandma’s Attic.  Evelyn Thompson will help you with lots of gently used items out in the hallway.

There really are too many items to mention.
