Methodist History

Francis Asbury

Many Methodist’s have heard of John Wesley, who along with his brother Charles, are considered the founders of Methodism.  However, very few people probably know of Francis Asbury, who is considered the founder of American Methodism.  We recently had a worship service devoted to Francis Asbury to see what we can learn from this man who died 200 years ago.

Bishop Francis Asbury, 1745-1816
